Children's Bible Study: 10 AM on Sunday Mornings!

     > Second - Fifth Grade, Room 220
          Teacher: Raymond Williams
The older children focus on BIble stories in the Old and New Testaments learning, for example,
about Joseph;s Journey, discussing Freedom, and coming to know that God provides.

     > Kindergarten - First Grade, Room 123
          Teacher: Maria Franchi
These young children learn the main stories of the Bible such as the stories of Jesus, Paul,
the disciples, Jericho, Naomi and Ruth, David and Goliath, EWlijah and the Widow, and Jonah and the Big Fish!

     > Toddlers - Preschoolers, Room 127
          Teacher: Sheila Laidlaw
The toddlers and preschoolers discover GOd's world, friendship, and Jesus.

NOTE: Preschoolers through First Graders will have an extended Bible story time during
worship while they are in Extended Session. Extended Session meets during the worship service.



      *** FEBRUARY 18 -- 10 AM to NOON -- Children's Extended Bible Time for toddlers through 5th graders!

              * On Sunday, February 18, from 10 AM to noon, the children will be celebrating the beginning of LENT
with an extended Bible study and activities time. In worship, the season of Lent will begin with the lighting
of the first Lenten candle as we move toward Holy Week and Easter Sunday, remembering the life of Jesus.
This is the first of four special Sundays: February 18, March 18, April 22 and May 20.

The schedule for February 18:
10:00 Gathering/Music
10:20 Crafts
10:50 Bible study
11:00 Worship (with a children's lesson)
11:10 Bible "Remix"
11:20 Recreation
11:50 Snacks

At 10 AM each of these Sundays, parents are invited to dialgue with Pastor Mark on the theme
The Shape of Things to Come, focusing on the self, parents, the family and the church -- one
for each of these Sundays. The discussions will include dialogue about experiencing God in
deeper and meaningful ways through Scripture and daily life. Woven into the dialogue will be
our mission emphases of Love God, Love Each Other and Serve the World.
