Mark McIntyre | University Baptist Church

Reverend W. Mark McIntyre received his Bachelor's of Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987, and his Master of Divinity with Church Music and Religious Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989.  Mark has been the Associate Pastor for Music and Education at University Baptist Church since 1997.

Rev. McIntyre is responsible for the administration of the entire music ministry, worship coordination, and creative worship programs.  He leads the Adult Choir,  various choral ensembles, and the Handbell Choir.  During the worship service he plays the organ and piano as well as conducting the Adult Choir.

Pastor Mark coordinates the Christian education programs at University Baptist Church including the Sunday Morning Bible Study for preschool, children, youth and adults, Vacation Bible School, and youth group activities.  

Mark is currently pursuing certification in Formative Spirituality through the Epiphany Certification Program at the Ephiphany Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He teaches voice, piano and musicality and has two CDs of keyboard hymn arrangements.
